Oil Based Colour
This is a strong colour and a little goes a long way
Powder colours will not water down or dilute the product it is being added to.
Oil based powder colour is extremely versatile and can be used for a wide variety of applications within cake decorating such as colouring your buttercream, meringues, macarons and candy floss. It can also be used as an edible paint when mixed with rose spirit.
Why not also try it with your craft projects such as soap, playdough, resins etc.
Colour Mixing
To Make Coloured Chocolate
Mix a small amount (like a sprinkle of salt and pepper) to the warm melted white chocolate - ensuring it is well stirred before it cools.
To Make a Variety of Colours
Add 2 or more colouring powders to white chocolate etc to achieve a wonderful variety of colours and shades.
To Colour Candyfloss
Use 1 quarter of a teaspoon of colouring to 3kg sugar.
TIPS
Only ever use oil based colours in chocolate. (gel or liquid colours are not suitable to use in chocolate.)
